Suvankar Mishra talks about the 2 pillars of Inequality – Crony Capitalism and Lack of Transparent Governance, in this Op-Ed
In this first Op-ed in #economyforall, MCCIA Director General Dr. Anant Sardeshmukh discusses the causes of inequality in India and why entrepreneurship that generates more jobs and opportunities is the solution.
Poverty and Inequality have a co-relation in our country. We could address both of them simultaneously if the Government and Social Entrepreneurs work in tandem to bring basic necessities and livelihood opportunities to those at the bottom of the pyramid.
A storyteller founder does not project himself as a stellar entrepreneur but someone who is as human as everybody else. Honesty, perceptiveness and openness are the hallmarks of such an entrepreneur. It’s about the mindset and not so much about the art.
The role of social entrepreneurs in the areas of access to basic necessities and creation of livelihood opportunities can certainly help our country take great strides towards the ideal goal of ‘No Poverty’.
